The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former two-time world boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really happening.
